The sculpting wraps protection around the whole joint -- sides and forearm top included -- while overlapping plates keep the fit flexible enough that mobility never suffers for the sake of coverage.

Each piece stays put via two leather straps. Full-grain leather fittings and 0.04 in mild steel construction mean this armor can take the punishment of LARP or reenactment use, provided you keep up with routine leather and metal care.

Available in Polished Steel and Epic Dark colors

History

Known alternately as a couter or elbow cop

Plate armor saw wider adoption as firearms became more common through the 13th century

By the late 15th century, Gothic-style pieces added a projection to shield the side of the knee

Disclaimer: Our LARP products are for recreational use only.
