Both plates are made from 0.04 in thick mild steel and secured with chrome tanned leather straps at the shoulders and around the ribs.

Sculpted for a close body fit and riveted for strength, this piece is available in two finishes: a high-gloss Polished Steel for the knight-in-shining-armor look, or a darker, matte Epic Dark finish for mercenaries and fighters who prefer the shadows. Neutral in style, it can be worn alone or with shoulder guards and a helmet of your choice, and we recommend a gambeson underneath. Available across several sizes for different body types, it's built to withstand LARP or reenactment combat with regular leather and metal care.

Available in Polished Steel and Epic Dark colors

Available in sizes S/M, L/XL and 2XL/3XL

History

The rounded profile is a historical design choice meant to disperse the force of incoming blows in the chaos of battle

Plate armor grew more popular through the 13th century as firearms became more common

Disclaimer: Our LARP products are for recreational use only.
