Each gauntlet is forged to sit comfortably over the hand, with a thick metal plate decorated in shiny rivets overlapping the first knuckles, and a short vambrace covering the wrist.

The steel fits comfortably over your own leather glove, worn through the vambrace opening and secured with a full-grain leather band around the palm. Polished mild steel with rolled edges keeps these demi gauntlets impressive yet affordable, and their low-fantasy, neutral look pairs easily with other Epic Armoury metalwork.

Available in Epic Dark and Polished Steel colors

Worn over leather gloves, which are sold separately

History

Gauntlets in one form or another have existed for millennia, with the design reaching its high point during the early renaissance as an essential part of a soldier's or knight's armor.
