It measures 9.8 in overall, with a 5.1 in straight, double-edged blade carrying a fuller, and a 3.5 in handle hand-painted and sculpted to look like wood set with two small nails.

Built to complement most of Epic Armoury's products, the Throwing Knife Boot Knife works across high- and low-fantasy costumes without breaking the overall look. Made from coreless durable closed cell foam and finished with a strong latex coating, it's ready to deliver the safety and appeal you want in your kit.

History

The design echoes a "balanced knife," the style favored across most Western traditions. Knife throwing has its roots in martial arts and hunting, long before it became a sport of its own, and a genuinely risky move historically, since a missed throw left you weaponless while arming your opponent. The fuller running down the blade, that long groove, lightens it while actually adding structural strength.

Disclaimer: Our LARP products are for recreational use only.
