The 8.7 in head carries an 3.1 in blade, hand-painted with worn, notched metal detail, and built from soft foam reinforced with a harder foam core. It attaches to a 17.7 in grip that's hand-painted and sculpted with realistic wood grain, plus decorative notching styled like arrow marks.

Made from durable closed cell foam around a solid fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, your new LARP axe will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your Defiant kit.

History

The hafted axe dates to around 6,000 B.C., first held together with birch tar and rawhide lashings, and axes like it commonly doubled as tools, priced well below a sword. "Tomahawk" itself comes from the Powhatan word tamahaac, meaning "to cut off by tool," originally shaped from stone before early European contact introduced metal.

Disclaimer: Our LARP products are for recreational use only.
