Its high viscosity (MPH 350) gives it a thicker consistency than a liquid treatment, so it lays down a heavier coating - which is why it was developed specifically for the Stronghold Master Collection. It's particularly suited to strike surfaces like axe and sword blades or shields. A coating shields the latex from heat and sunlight, prevents it from drying out, cuts down on friction, and helps preserve fine details like shape and paint.

How to Use

Latex gear should always carry a thin layer of silicone to stop the surface from drying out and to extend its working life, while also reducing friction and protecting the color and edges of your blades. Inspect your latex equipment before and after each use. Work the gel into the surface either directly or via a cloth, avoiding leather handles, and wipe away any excess with a dry cotton cloth. Store latex gear somewhere dry and out of direct sunlight.

Disclaimer: Our LARP products are for recreational use only.
