A Celtic-inspired knotted pattern is etched into the surface, the outside polished smooth and the inside polished and treated for food contact. This version comes with a wrought iron stand, handy for display or simply keeping the horn upright.

Use it for cool or room-temperature drinks and skip the unsightly plastic bottle while staying in character — a natural addition to markets and camp life. Care for it properly and it will last for years, but keep hot drinks out of it, since heat will warp the horn. Every piece is a unique natural product, so color will vary somewhat from what's pictured.

Available in Dark Horn and Light Horn colors

History

Ancient Greeks and Romans were known to use horns for drinking vessels

The ancient Greek term for a drinking horn was simply keras, which means 'horn'

In the prose Edda, Thor is challenged to drink from a horn that unknown to him contains all the seas.
