2236-glasfiber-core
Fiberglass Core

Fiberglass Core

This Epic Armoury Fiberglass Core is a DIY building block that lets you construct your own LARP weapon while still relying on the same core safety used in our finished blades. Strong yet flexible, it's offered in a range of diameters and lengths so you can match it to your project.

Directions for use:

Carve closed cell foam into your desired shape and fit it around a clean, sanded Fiberglass Core -- glue grips a sanded core better and boosts durability. Leave a safe amount of foam around the core to preserve safety. Once shaped, dip the weapon in latex and let each layer dry for a smooth, protective finish.

A thin coat of silicone helps prevent the latex from drying out and extends the weapon's life. Inspect your gear before and after every use, and finish the handle with leather or cloth wrap.

Available in 37,5, 80, 100, 120 and 70.9 in length

Available in 5, 8, 10 and 0.6 in diameters

Disclaimer: Our LARP products are for recreational use only.
