Worn alone or as part of a full harness, it turns a soldier into a symbol.

Inspired by the bold silhouettes of 16th-century mercenary captains, it features a clean bevor-style front plate covering the clavicle and upper sternum, while three articulated lames curve upward at the neck, moving with the head to guard the throat from glancing blows.

A steel plate at the upper back mirrors the front, adding spine and shoulder protection while balancing the piece's weight from front to back. That balance keeps the gorget seated securely, without tugging, twisting, or constant readjustment mid-scene or skirmish.

Made from durable 0.04 in steel, the Landsknecht Gorget secures with leather straps and steel buckles for a snug fit over a gambeson or arming doublet, and is fully compatible with Epic Armoury's shoulder plates, spaulders, and cuirass sets, including the rest of the Landsknecht line.

Sized for S/M and M/L

Offered in Polished Steel and Epic Dark

Features:

Built from 0.04 in steel for LARP, reenactment, and stage use

Covers the neck, throat, upper chest, and upper back

Neck lames articulate for smooth, dynamic movement

Weight balances between a bevor-style front plate and a rear plate

Secured with adjustable full grain leather straps and buckles

Works with most Epic Armoury spaulders and cuirasses

Polished Steel suits noble rank, fresh commissions, or parade-ground pride, while Epic Dark fits veterans, schemers, and those commanding from behind the lines

Whether worn to complete a full plate harness or as a standalone mark of rank, the Landsknecht Gorget commands attention.

Disclaimer: Our LARP products are for recreational use only.
