Measuring 3x19.7x39.4 in, it's dense and resists bending, making it well suited to fine detail work layered on top of our softer foam. The closed-cell construction won't tear, stays light and durable, and holds its molded shape well.

Available in Hard 0.12 in, Soft 0.4 in and Soft 0.8 in versions

Epic Foam Hard has a density of roughly 198.4 to 209.4 lb/m3, while Epic Foam Soft comes in at 132.3 lb/m3

Directions for use:

There's more than one way to build a LARP weapon, but the basics stay the same: carve and heat the hard foam into shape, attach it to softer foam or use it for detail pieces on costuming or armor, and always leave enough foam around the weapon's core to keep it safe. Once shaped, dip the piece in latex and let each layer dry for a smooth, protective finish.

A thin coat of silicone over the latex keeps the surface from drying out and extends the weapon's life. Check your gear for damage before and after every use, and wrap the handle in leather or cloth for a finished look.

Disclaimer: Our LARP products are for recreational use only.
