Khopesh Knife
Ancient Egypt lends its signature curved silhouette to Epic Armoury's Khopesh, a sickle-shaped blade built for maximum battlefield effectiveness. The blade itself runs 14.6 in, finished with a fine coreless pommel, while the weapon measures 20.5 in overall, its sharp, organic lines drawing heavily from the historical Egyptian khopesh sword. A fiberglass core wrapped in durable closed cell foam and sealed under strong latex delivers the safety and finish expected of any LARP kit.
History
- Early khopeshes were cast in bronze before iron versions appeared later
- Its weight allowed it to function as both a slashing and a blunt weapon
- The curved edge worked especially well for slashing rather than stabbing
