Bone Bracer
Epic Armoury's Dark Elf Right Arm Bracer is a heavy-duty black leather gauntlet covering everything from the knuckles to the elbow, built from overlapping full grain leather plates loaded with detail. A runed, stone-like guard tipped with a leather spike sits at the elbow, the wrist guard is spined like a dragon's tail, and three leather spikes line the knuckles of the handguard. Every element is stitched around its edges for structure and to resist deforming.
Slide your middle finger through the leather loop on the knuckle shield to secure the gauntlet to your hand, then wrap the three soft suede leather straps around the elbow, forearm, and wrist to hold the hard shell in place. Sharp, fearsome, and deadly-looking, it's built for secretive and dangerous characters, and can be worn alongside Epic Armoury's matching Dark Elf armours or on its own.
- Available in left- and right-arm version
History
- Hand protection is one of the oldest forms of armour, due to its importance in combat
- This particular style might also be referred to as a "demi-gauntlet," due to its limited finger protection
