Epic Armoury's Spear Naginata is a 70.9 in latex polearm inspired by the samurai of traditional Japan. Its 23.6 in single-edged blade is fixed to a leather-wrapped pole, letting you stab, slash, and parry with ease. A large oval crossguard rounds out the Asian-inspired design, matched by a pommel hand-painted to look like metal.
Built from durable closed cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, it's ready to deliver the safety and appeal you want for your Asian-inspired kit.
History
Spears have been used for hunting for at least 400,000 years, making them one of humanity's oldest weapons and the dominant tool of the Stone Age until firearms took over. This particular shape echoes the naginata, a Japanese weapon built around a single-edged blade fixed to the end of a pole.
