Kunai Knife
Epic Armoury's Kunai knife is a Japanese-inspired throwing knife, engineered for safe use when thrown and often linked to the martial art of Ninjutsu and the exaggerated myths surrounding ninjas. It measures 7.5 in overall, with a short 3.1 in leaf-shaped blade and a notably narrow 3.1 in handle crafted from ribbed latex and foam for a secure, solid grip. A ringed pommel makes it easy to attach to your belt for transport, and its well-balanced, straightforward design is built for consistent aim.
Japanese in style but low-fantasy enough to fit numerous settings without breaking a character's overall look, the Kunai is made from coreless, durable closed cell foam and finished with a strong paint coating, delivering the safety and appeal you want in your kit.
History
- Originally designed to be a Japanese farming tool and used by peasants
- As a weapon, it was predominantly used for stabbing
- Could also be used for climbing as a grappling hook or piton
