Spatha
Epic Armoury's Spatha is a short latex-hybrid sword inspired by the Roman gladius. It's 23.6 in long, with a double-edged blade carrying a double fuller. The hilt, known as a capulus, features intricate detailing befitting an officer or dignitary, while the knobbed grip gives a firm, ergonomic hold and ends in a large spherical pommel.
Roman officer or arena gladiator, this Spatha is one of our highest quality products for durability and detail. The blade is closed cell foam around a fiberglass core finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is a polyurethane foam cast for extra detail with no maintenance - a hybrid build meant to give you confidence in both safety and appeal on the battlefield.
