RFB Viking Bracers
Ready For Battle's Viking Bracers, from Epic Armoury, are fancy leather forearm guards woven from cut leather strips into a beautiful pattern, secured with sturdy leather straps and brass buckles.
Additional soft leather hems the edges to keep the armour from deforming with heavy wear. These bracers match our Viking Armour and Greaves, but their distinct, neutral style fits almost any costuming combination for your first adventure.
- Available in Dark Brown and Epic Black colors
History
- Inspired by lamellar armour worn by the Vikings, which would have included small iron plates
- Historically, using only leather as armour is factually inconclusive, most Vikings wore ordinary clothing and used a shield as protection
