Duelist Sword - Vanguard
Part of Epic Armoury's Vanguard line, the Duelist Sword takes its design cues from the longswords of late mediaeval Europe and the early Renaissance, featuring a smaller crossguard and a slightly thinner blade. The polyurethane hilt is highly detailed, with a grooved grip, a petal-ornament rain guard (chappe) shielding the blade near the grip, a leaf-shaped pommel, and gold detailing across the grip. The blade itself is closed cell polyurethane foam, colored for a lifelike finish. Like the rest of the Vanguard line, it needs virtually no maintenance beyond the occasional check for cuts or wear.
