Elven Holster Hook

Epic Armoury's elven swords skip the crossguard for a sleeker look, which can make them tricky to keep seated in a weapon holder, or "frog." The Epic Black Elven Holster Hook solves that problem -- tie it around your weapon's grip and it will sit securely in your holder just like any crossguarded sword, without changing the blade's silhouette.

Built from durable full-grain leather with leather cord stitching, this hook keeps its shape through regular LARP use with normal leather care. Its elegant look pairs naturally with any elven or imperial weapon, or any blade with a habit of slipping free of your belt.

  • Available in Epic Black and Ox Brown colors

History

  • A weapon holder is also referred to as a frog
  • Crossguards weren't necessarily used even on historical weapons, becoming more popular after 10th century Europe
  • Elves were originally a creation of Germanic mythology and folklore
