Dark Elven Throwing Knife - 8.7 in
Made to complement the Dark Elf collection, this well-balanced 8.3 in knife pairs a curved 5.1 in single-edged blade with a 3.5 in handle that blends seamlessly into it, hand-painted and sculpted to read as cold metal. A hook at the end of the handle makes it easy to twirl, and the design works alongside most other pieces and characters in the Epic Armoury lineup.
Built from coreless closed cell foam and finished with a durable paint coating, it delivers the safety and polish expected from a well-made LARP prop.
History
- Dark elves first appear in Norse mythology as the "Dokkalfar" or "Svartalfar," recorded in the 13th-century Prose Edda
- Tolkien later referenced dark elves, the "Moriquendi," in The Silmarillion
- They're also known as "Drow" within the Dungeons & Dragons universe, popularized by R.A. Salvatore's Dark Elf Trilogy
