Drow Shield
Epic Armoury's Drow Shield is a large piece inspired by the heater shields used in 15th-century jousting. A hand-painted black field with gold trim and white heraldry evokes classic elven design, and the rim is detailed to resemble gold metal - a simple but striking layout that captures elven curves and a suitably dark color scheme.
It's worn left-handed, secured with three full-grain leather arm straps mounted on hard EVA foam for a dependable grip. With regular latex care, this shield holds up well to sustained LARP use.
- Available in Epic Black and Unpainted
History
- The notch cut into the upper left corner, called a bouche, historically supported a jouster's lance and improved the knight's sightline
