Milanese Sword
Part of Epic Armoury's Stronghold Master Collection, the Milanese Sword is built for fighters who prize precision and staying power. It takes its shape from the longswords of Northern Italy, blending Renaissance elegance with modern LARP-grade construction — clean, responsive, and ready to hold up under pressure.
Like every Stronghold Master weapon, the Milanese is rated for full-contact play. It's built from latex-free injection-molded EVA foam around an oval fiberglass core, with a reinforced tube tip for extra safety, so it keeps its shape and edge profile even after repeated hard combat. A slightly slimmer blade profile makes it feel nimble without sacrificing the forgiving softness Stronghold weapons are known for, and the hilt-forward balance suits both quick duels and long stretches of play.
Design-wise, it's stripped down but deliberate: a teardrop-shaped grip with subtle texture gives secure control even mid-fight, flowing into a minimalist guard and rounded pommel. Nothing here is for show — it's all about how the sword performs.
Choose between 35.8 in and 42.9 in lengths; the longer version adds a sculpted ricasso for extra grip options and leverage. Pick steel for a grounded, realistic finish or bronze for a warmer tone.
There's no scabbard made specifically for the Milanese, but it fits neatly into the Epic Armoury Adjustable Scabbard, keeping it secure and ready to travel.
Suited to LARP, theatre, or training alike, the Milanese Sword balances style with performance for players who want a sword built to last.
