The harness is made from durable, high quality leather uppers. Its being closed underneath the right arm and can hold a single shoulder on the left side. Made for this purpose, it may as well be worn on the other side - only the buckles will move from front to back.
The harness itself is a nice piece of armour, but even better, when worn in combination wuith a leather shoulder. Check any one from the Fuchina del Drago production or use the matching one fot this article here.
