The Kaspar tassets are built from seven flexibly connected lames and are made to fit the Kaspar torso armor. They can also be worn with other breastplates that have suitable straps.
On the blackened version, the deep-black surfaces are contrasted by polished steel edges, following German cavalry armor of the mid-16th to mid-17th century, which makes the armor look even more substantial.
