Milanese Couter
Epic Armoury's Milanese Couter is a low-fantasy piece of elbow armour shaped to guard the sides and part of the arm as well, enough to thwart even the craftiest rogue. Its shape doesn't just block blows, it deflects them: a curved, riveted and welded shelf along the edge catches strikes that would otherwise slide up onto the arm.
Constructed as a single piece of mild steel, each couter is held in place with one full-grain leather strap, and conveniently placed eyelets let you fasten it firmly to a gambeson or shirt. With regular leather and metal care, this armour is built to last.
- Available in Polished Steel and Epic Dark colors
