Dark Elven Throwing Knife & Holder
Epic Armoury's Dark Elven Throwing Knife Holder ships with a knife and is purpose-built to store and protect an Epic Armoury Dark Elven Throwing Knife. Two leather ties attach the handmade holder to any belt or baldric, while an additional leather loop slides around the knife and fastens with a button, keeping the weapon secure even in rough combat.
The knife itself is coreless durable closed cell foam finished with detailed paintwork, giving you confidence in both its safety and its look as part of your kit.
The holder is made from black full-grain leather with brass eyelets and reinforced edge stitching, built to hold its shape and withstand the abuse of LARP with regular leather care.

History
This type of accessory is also called a "frog," historically used to hang a scabbard vertically from a belt. Dark elves themselves first appear in Norse mythology as the Dökkálfar or Svartálfar, recorded in the 13th-century Prose Edda. J.R.R. Tolkien later folded them into his own mythology as the "Moriquendi" in The Silmarillion, and the concept resurfaces again as "Drow" in the Dungeons & Dragons universe, popularized further by R.A. Salvatore's The Dark Elf Trilogy.
