Soldier Complete Armour
Simple, neutral, and versatile, the Soldier Complete Armour is built to pair easily with other Epic Armoury products for a fully customized look. It is crafted from 0.04 in thick mild steel secured with durable chrome leather straps and fittings, giving you balanced protection and mobility for a wide range of characters. Built to endure the rigors of LARP and reenactment, it is a reliable, functional choice with a timeless aesthetic.
The set consists of the following pieces:
- Soldier Belt Shields: two rolled-edge steel plates that hang from your own belt to cover the outer thighs, sliding into place via brown leather loops secured with rivets
- Soldier Arm Protection: a complete set of vambraces, rerebraces, and elbow cups (couters). The rounded, reinforced couters protect the elbow joint, with a cupped flange on the inside to deflect blows; the half-rerebrace covers the upper arm while the vambrace covers the lower arm
- Soldier Leg Protection: a pair of greaves protecting the front of the shins down to the ankles, using an overlapping plate design that barely impacts mobility. Four leather straps around the back of the thigh and lower leg, plus tie strings that fasten to your gambeson, keep them firmly in place
- Soldier Gorget: sits around the neck, protecting the thorax and shoulders
- Soldier Shoulders: two shoulder guards combining spaulders and pauldrons. The single-plate spaulder shapes to protect the upper arm, while the larger, curved pauldron sits over the shoulder and overlaps the breastplate
- Soldier Torso: a handmade cuirass and backplate protecting the front and back of the torso and abdomen
- Aruthian Belt: a long belt of full-grain buffalo leather with crescent moon tooling and stitched accents. Its 27.6 in belt-tongue and 30 holes let you adjust across a wide size range, secured with a rounded brass buckle
