Soulstealer - 43.3 in
Fit for an evil overlord or a fortunate tomb-raider, this 43.3 in latex sword from Epic Armoury carries an 31.5 in double-edged chopping blade. A gemmed oval crossguard shields the 9.8 in leather-wrapped handle, long enough for one- or two-handed use, finishing at a coreless pommel hand-painted to match the guard.
Underneath, it's built the same as the rest of the line: closed-cell foam over a fiberglass core, coated in strong latex for safety and looks.
Because each sword is hand-painted, the jewel color varies between red, purple, and black, while the crossguard finish varies between gold, silver, and bronze.
Inspiration
- Dark elves first appear in Norse mythology's 13th-century Prose Edda, under the names Dökkálfar and Svartálfar
- J.R.R. Tolkien later wrote of both dark elves and elves of light in The Silmarillion
