RFB Arm Protection - Light Kit

Epic Armoury's Ready For Battle Arm Protection shields the forearms from glancing sword strikes and stray arrows, now molded in Polyurea (PU) at a fraction of steel's weight. A clean, simple vambrace shape suits nearly any genre or character — grizzled mercenary or noble guard alike — making this one of the more versatile additions to a kit.

Because it's molded rather than forged, the weight drops dramatically, making it ideal for long event days, junior fighters, and performers who want the steel look without the strain. Each vambrace is held in place with two full grain leather straps for a secure, adjustable fit, and the neutral styling pairs easily with the rest of your armor.

Features

  • Molded PU keeps weight dramatically below the steel original
  • Shields the forearms from lucky blows and stray arrows
  • A clean, simple bracer shape fits almost any genre or character
  • Two leather straps per vambrace give a secure, adjustable fit
  • Sold as a set of two
  • Color: Epic Gray
  • Sizes: S/M, L/XL

Fit, adjustment & care

Most of the fit comes from the strap system itself, but for an even closer fit, you can gently reshape the material with heat — apply it to the inside of the piece rather than the painted exterior so the material softens without harming the finish.

  • Finish: The base material beneath the painted surface is black, so scratches and general wear may eventually reveal this black layer underneath.
  • Easy touch-ups: Minor scuffs or scratches are simple to fix at home with a primer and acrylic hobby paints (such as Army Painter or Citadel).
  • Leather care: Treat the leather straps like any other full-grain leather product, conditioning them occasionally to keep them supple and long-lasting.
  • A living finish: Wear and patina are a natural part of your armor's lifecycle, adding to its authentic, battle-worn character over time.
