Scout Arm Guards
Epic Armoury's Scout Arm Guards are single-plate mild steel guards that protect the front of the forearm from wrist to elbow, forged from 0.04 in steel and secured with sturdy, flexible leather straps.
An adjustable double leather band across the upper-mid and lower-mid of each guard keeps the fit comfortable, while polished mild steel with rolled edges keeps the piece practical and affordable. Their low-fantasy, neutral look pairs easily with other Epic Armoury metalwork.
- Available in Epic Dark and Polished Steel colors
- Available in sizes S/M, L/XL and XL/2XL
History
Arm guards have long played a role in combat across various cultures, deflecting incoming blows, a function that survives today in sports like soccer and American football. Historically, light infantry favored this kind of protection because it prioritized mobility and ease of movement over maximum defense.
