Dark Elven Glaive - 74.8 in
Part of Epic Armoury's Dark Elven collection, this 74.8 in glaive pairs a sculpted double-edged blade with a pronounced central fuller for a lean, aggressive silhouette. Spine-like spikes running along the blade give it an unsettling, bone-like quality, all rendered through detailed sculpting and hand-painting. A smooth 35.4 in shaft, finished in a dark wood tone, completes the weapon.
As with our other polearms, the glaive is built from closed-cell foam over a solid fiberglass core and sealed with a resilient latex coating, giving you a safe weapon that still holds up to the demands of the battlefield.
Inspiration
- A fuller - the groove running down the blade - reduces weight without sacrificing structural strength
- Dark elves trace back to Norse mythology, appearing as the Dökkálfar or Svartálfar in the 13th-century Prose Edda
