Claw Hammer - 21.7 in
This 21.7 in foam claw hammer from Epic Armoury recreates the everyday workshop tool used for driving and pulling nails - a design that dates back before the 1600s, with an etching from 1514 confirming its long history, making it just as fitting for a fantasy setting as for a post-apocalyptic one.
Built from foam around an 0.31 in solid fiberglass core and finished in durable latex, this hammer is safe for LARP events and children's theater alike, delivering only light impact force compared to a real metal-and-wood hammer.
It features a 19.1 in grip hand-painted to resemble real wood grain and a 7.5 in head with a V-shaped claw, the 2 in striking face finished with a metallic paint job. Beyond its use as a carpenter's prop, it doubles nicely as an improvised weapon against raiders or radioactive creatures - always handy to have on you.
