Dark Elf Trophy Mask
Claim a defeated dark elf's face as your war trophy with this mask from Epic Armoury, cast entirely from 100% natural latex to cover the whole face while leaving roomy openings at the eyes, nose, and mouth for comfort.
Narrow-featured with a long, prominent nose, a defined chin, and sharply marked eyebrows, the mask's dark grey complexion is shaded in black and white, and jagged, wrinkled edges sell the look of a face torn from its victim. Adjustable leather cords keep it secured, and it can be customized further with Epic Effects Water-Based Makeup.
History
- Echoes the age-old practice of keeping human remains as trophies
- Such remains were traditionally kept to display dominance or honor the dead
- Dark elves appear as early as the 13th-century Prose Edda, described in Norse mythology as the "Dokkalfar" or "Svartalfar"
