Infantry Medium Deal
Epic Armoury's Infantry Medium Deal is a ready-to-wear armor set covering everything needed for the battlefield, making it a strong starting point for newcomers to LARP. It's built from 0.04 in mild steel with straps of vegetable-tanned full-grain leather for adjusting the fit, holding up to combat with regular armor and leather care.
The Infantry Medium Deal consists of:
- The Gambeson Warrior Long Sleeves -- a padded long-sleeve coat worn alone or as padding beneath armor, with sleeves that detach by untying cotton cords at the shoulders and sleeves
- The Ready For Battle Breastplate -- part of Epic Armoury's Ready For Battle range, this cuirass protects the front of the torso and abdomen, resting at the hips with a small flange, or sword turner, that deflects blows aimed at the gap between torso and leg armor
- The Soldier Shoulder -- two shoulder guards combining spaulders and pauldrons; the single-plate spaulder protects the upper arm while the larger single-plate pauldron curves over the shoulder and overlaps the breastplate
- The Morion -- a steel helmet based on 15th-16th century Spanish conquistador designs, with a brim curved front and back to protect the head without blocking vision, a comb reinforcing the skull-cap from forehead to apex, and riveted cheek guards for added protection
