Viking Short Axe - 21.7 in
This reinforced, updated take on Epic Armoury's bestselling Viking Short Axe is built for extra durability. An 7.1 in edge on the axe-head carries a golden embellishment that echoes the pommel, while the 17.7 in handle is carved with rough wood grain and left without a fixed grip point, encouraging a versatile hold.

History
The hafted axe dates back to around 6,000 B.C., when birch tar and rawhide lashings first joined blade to handle, and for much of history axes like this doubled as everyday tools, cheaper to produce than a sword.
