RFB Viking Greaves
Woven from cut leather straps into a decorative pattern, these calf-protecting greaves from Epic Armoury fasten to the leg with sturdy leather straps and brass buckles. A soft leather hem lines the edges to keep the armor from losing its shape with heavy use.
Designed to match the Viking Armour and Bracers, the greaves still carry a neutral enough style to pair with almost any costume — a solid choice for a first outing into the hobby.
- Colors: Dark Brown, Epic Black
History
- Inspired by Viking-era lamellar armor, which historically included small plates of iron
- Whether Vikings actually wore leather-only armor is historically uncertain — most likely wore regular clothing and relied on a shield for defense
