RFB Fighter Greaves
Epic Armoury's Ready-for-Battle Fighter Greaves are decorative leather greaves built to protect the calves. Leather oblongs cut from plated leather are riveted with brass studs onto soft leather beneath, and sturdy leather straps with iron buckles secure the piece to the calves.
Additional soft split leather hemming keeps the armor from deforming with wear over time. Fully interchangeable with other Epic Armoury products, this lightweight piece carries a neutral style that suits almost any world or character for your first adventure.
- Available in Dark Brown and Epic Black colors
History
- Inspired by "brigandine" armor from the Middle Ages, but lighter without the usual metal plates riveted into the armor
- Inspired style came into wide use during the 15th century
