Traveler Boots
Epic Armoury's Traveler Boots are tall leather boots lined in soft leather, rising to the knee with a flexible cuff that flips up or down for a classic pirate look. The soles taper to a sharp point, echoing 12th century medieval fashion at a jaunty 45° upward angle. Adjustable lacing runs up the calf, using rounded leather cords through brass eyelets.
Chrome tanned top-grain leather forms the exterior, backed by a flexible full-grain leather insole and a 0.28 in natural rubber outsole. Reinforced stitching along the edges and reinforced heel leather mean these boots, made by Epic Armoury to round out a fantasy or historic costume, hold up well when you keep up with basic leather maintenance.

History
Pointed footwear came in and out of fashion across Europe throughout the medieval period before disappearing for good in the 1480s. Known by names like crakow or poulaine, this style saw its greatest popularity during the 15th century.
