Leather Gauntlet
Epic Armoury's Leather Gauntlet is a rugged piece cut from vegetable-tanned, full-grain leather. Two overlapping oblong knuckle-shields plus a thumb shield protect the fingers up to the first joint, all mounted on a larger plate that covers the back of the hand and extends into a cuff over the wrist and lower arm. Every piece is edge-stitched for structure, and the knuckle and thumb shields are given a convex shape for added stiffness.
Leather straps threaded through the knuckle and thumb shields secure the gauntlet to your hand, while the cuff closes with a system of straps and brass knobs and is decorated with flattened leather cording.
Wear it alongside Epic Armoury's Thief or Falcon Gloves, or on its own - its timeless, understated style pairs with our other leather and metal armor for a fully customized look.
