RFB Fighter Leather Armour
Epic Armoury's Ready-for-Battle Leather Armour is a decorative leather cuirass with front and back plates protecting the torso. Black leather oblongs, cut from plated split leather, are riveted with brass studs onto soft split leather, and elongated side panels guard the flanks. Sturdy leather straps and iron buckles join the front and back plates together.
Similar leather oblongs form the shoulder plates, reinforced by a strap running from the front plate to a second set of iron buckles on the back, which makes the whole armor highly adjustable for a snug, individual fit.
Additional soft split leather hems the armor to resist deforming with heavy wear. Fully interchangeable with other Epic Armoury products, it's light, distinct, yet neutral enough to fit almost any world or character for your first adventure.
- Available in Epic Black and Dark Brown colors
- Available in sizes S, M, L and XL
History
- Inspired by "brigandine" armor from the Middle Ages, though lighter since it skips the usual riveted metal plates
- This lighter style became widely used during the 15th century
