Galea Roman Helmet w. Plume
Epic Armoury's Galea Roman Helmet with Red Plume takes its cues from the classic legionnaire's helm. Ear-flaps, a brow bar, cotton inlay, and an open face combine for a comfortable helmet that never compromises vision or protection. Rolled brass lining reinforces the cheek guards and forehead, finished off with embossed floral brass rivets. A vibrant red faux-hair plume tops the crest for a particularly striking silhouette.
A chin strap tightens to hold the Galea Roman Helmet in place, and the ear-flaps can be secured beneath the chin using the supplied string and eyelets. Built from 0.04 in thick mild steel with full-grain leather straps and fittings, it is made to withstand LARP or reenactment abuse with regular leather and metal armor care.
- This helmet comes with a leather fitting and a loose foam band for internal adjusting.
