Raider Gorget
Two solid steel plates form this Raider Armour piece from Epic Armoury, shaped to the body and worn secured at the shoulders by leather straps for chest-and-neck protection with a battle-worn edge. A speckled brown coat over Epic Armoury's Epic Dark Metal treatment gives the riveted steel a convincingly rusted, well-used look, finished off with leather trim and antique-style rivets.
Constructed from 0.04 in galvanized mild steel paired with top-grain leather straps and hardware, it's made to hold up through repeated LARP or reenactment use as long as the leather and metal receive routine care.
- Color: Epic Dark & Rust Patina
- Sizes: S/M, L/XL
Inspiration
- Draws on orc costuming -- orcs first appear in Old English and Anglo-Saxon writing such as Beowulf, and later in 16th-century Italian folktales
