Jack Chains
Worn over a gambeson or arming jacket, Epic Armoury's Jack Chains are lightweight arm plates that give solid base protection against slashes and impacts while keeping your arms free to move. The late medieval silhouette adds character to an outfit without piling on bulk.
Arming point laces tie the plates to your gambeson, keeping them stable through runs, fights, and long event days. Built from 0.04 in mild steel with full-grain leather straps and fittings, this set holds up well to LARP and reenactment use with normal leather and metal armor care.

History
- The "jack" in jack chains refers to the padded arming jacket worn under plate elements. In 15th and 16th century Europe, armor pieces often attached to a gambeson using arming points, which is the same system used in this design.
