Warrior Backplate
Built to pair with Epic Armoury's Warrior and Drake Breastplates, the Warrior Backplate shields the spine as part of a low-fantasy design sculpted for a close body fit. The riveted steel carries a bright, shiny finish, and a small flange along the bottom edge helps turn blows away from the lower body.
Neutral enough to mix and match with any other Epic Armoury metal armor, the piece is formed from 0.04 in galvanized mild steel with full grain leather straps and fittings, standing up to LARP and reenactment abuse when given routine leather and metal care.

History
- Sculpted ridges and overlapping plates were a historical answer to reinforcing protection and deflecting blows amid the chaos of battle
