Captain Chainmail
Getting into battle gear shouldn't slow you down, and the Captain Chainmail from Epic Armoury is built with that in mind. This mail tunic goes on quickly thanks to a front closure of buckles, and its full grain leather edging is hand-stitched for a finished look and comfortable fit. Coverage runs from the shoulders to the thighs with long sleeves included, and the mail body is formed from butted rings interlocked four-to-one in the standard 4-in-1 pattern.
Riveted rings reinforce the armpit area specifically, since that's where the mail bears the most strain when arms are raised in combat. For extra comfort and to help prevent bruising during a fight, this chainmail is best worn over a gambeson.
