Char-a'ina Complete Armour Set
The name "Char-a'ina" comes from the Persian چهاﺮآﻳنه, translating directly to "four mirrors," a reference to the four plates that make up this characteristic cuirass. Historically worn across the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Asia, the Char-a'ina Complete Armour Set from Epic Armoury blends several historical designs into one general, versatile look, well suited to a warrior character with a distinct Middle Eastern or West Asian style. As with many of our designs featuring overlapping metal plates, expect some scratches with use.
The Char-a'ina Complete Armour Set consists of the following pieces:
- Char-a'ina Cuirass uses four plates, one on the front, back and sides, held together by full grain straps that crisscross across your back and can be tightened and loosened between your sides
- Persian Greaves is a set of steel leg protection designed to protect the shins and calves, formed to the shin and connected by chainmail, sitting comfortably over the shins while leaving room for poleyns to cover the kneecaps
- Persian Helmet features a tall bowled head with a pointed crest capped by a decorative plate; a nasal guard extends up over the forehead, offering strong facial protection without limiting visibility much, and creating an impressive silhouette on the battlefield. It can be removed by loosening the front bolt
- Bazuband strikes a balance between the discomfort of gauntlets and the mobility of demi-gauntlets, giving you comfort and freedom of movement. Paired with your own leather glove, these robust steel plates protect the back of your hand, thumb, and underarm, while strong chainmail connects the plates for unbridled but protected movement
The Char-a'ina Complete Armour Set is perfect for those looking to stand out in the crowd!
