Rogue Leg Protection
Sharp, pointed poleyns give this greave pair its aggressive look while overlapping plates run down the shin to the ankle, covering the leg fully without locking up your stride. Four leather straps, at the thigh, knee, calf, and ankle, hold everything in place, and rolled, ridged edges along the rim help turn aside a lucky hit.
Built to pair with Epic Armoury's Rogue Armour but equally at home with the brand's other metal pieces, this set is stamped from 0.04 in galvanized mild steel and finished in leather, tough enough for repeated LARP or reenactment use with basic upkeep.
- Available in sizes S/M and L/XL
History
- Firearms becoming more common in the 13th century pushed plate armor toward wider adoption
- Sculpted ridges and layered, overlapping plates historically reinforced protection and deflected blows in battle
