Visored Barbuta
A distinctive movable visor sets this full helmet from Epic Armoury apart -- flip it up over the crown or lock it down with a pin-and-chain, your choice. Down, it shows two rectangular eye-slits, a flat nose section, and a large Maltese-cross breathing hole. The shell itself follows the curve of the head and carries a low reinforcing crest running forehead to neck, striking a balance between elegance and comfort.
Coverage runs full except at the throat. Historically, the barbuta saw its heaviest use among flashy Italian mercenaries of the Renaissance, prized by light troops for balancing protection with clear sightlines. Pair it with Renaissance-style clothing, though its high-fantasy edge lets it work across many character concepts.
