Gauntlets
These bestselling Epic Armoury Gauntlets are early-renaissance-style articulated steel gloves designed for maximum combat protection without sacrificing maneuverability, protecting everything from fingers to forearm. Overlapping metal plates cover the fingers down to the tips, a rigid sculpted plate protects the knuckles, and a short vambrace guards the wrist halfway up the forearm. Finely fitted, rivet-decorated steel plates protect the back of the hand and thumb.
The steel sits on a flexible full-grain leather foundation, worn over a suede leather glove sewn directly onto the steel protection, with adjustable leather straps under the knuckles and at the wrist to secure the fit.
Polished mild steel with rolled edges gives these gauntlets an impressive yet neutral look, fully interchangeable with other Epic Armoury armor.
History
