RFB Helmet
The Ready for Battle Helmet is essential gear for anyone stepping onto the battlefield. As one of the more important armor pieces you can own, it draws its design from the 12th-century Crusaders, and its simple form makes it a natural fit across many genres and character types. Built from 0.04 in thick mild steel with leather straps and fittings, this Epic Armoury piece is made to withstand LARP or reenactment abuse with routine leather and metal armor care.

History
Sometimes called a "cervelliere," this design first appeared in the late 12th century, its pointed profile foreshadowing later cervelliere styles of the 13th century. Cheap and simple to produce, it became popular with commoners and non-professional soldiers, worn either bare-headed or layered over a chainmail coif for throat protection.
