Pourpoint Godfrey
Epic Armoury's Pourpoint Godfrey is a form-fitting, long-sleeved coat covering the torso from neck to hips, wearable alone or as padding beneath mail or armor. Donned like a jacket, it secures along the front, sides, and back with cotton cords that let you dial in the fit, and the arms detach easily by untying the cotton cords at the shoulders, each cord running through long-lasting brass eyelets. Four eyelets on the bottom front hem let you attach hose and a leg harness for a proper knightly look.
Layers of heavy cotton make this durable doublet thick enough to serve as armor in its own right. Vertical and diagonal stitching lines hold the padding in place and give the body a strong, form-fitted shape.
